He wasn't a " young anxious sledder looking for help" He came there and his first post was bashing, 2nd post, bashing, then he got into an argument with C-note.
I've read all of his deleted posts and they deserved to be deleted. He must have stepped over the line in a PM because now I see he is banned. His first posts were telling others (OP) that they bought the wrong sled and their sled is junk, this isnt going to make many friends on any site. There are 2 sides to every story. The password fiasco lost 75% of the members- not a good thing at all.

He was giving a chance, ( 3 or 4 chances actually) and he kept digging himself into deeper hole. Then he started calling some of the mods names,, well,,, eventually he got what he expected.

I've been thinking about the forums vs FB thing alot lately. Even tho I'm and 'old guy" I have to agree, most stuff has switched to FB good or bad FB is getting to where it now has many specialty groups. I have been a forum guy for decades for everything that interests me. I have 12 vintage sleds so lots of odd forums that I belong to, made alot of great friends but have to agree most stuff today shows up on FB groups and the forum seem to be dying out, some go a long time without new posts. I have friends also that don't do FB, have to say to me seems thats where most things are now. I guess the best thing I learned as I get older, is learning to adapt

There is an Arctic Cat Trailriders group on FB that I've enjoyed being in. They seem to have much newer models of sleds and can present some current experiences on them. I also find out what people are paying, conditions, etc. I still depend on places like HCS though for anything technical/mechanical. Just a great source of info here.

I really didnt think he would post again on this site. I'm an Admin on A-Chat and I am the most senior ( god does that make me old or what?) We see disgruntled new members all the time, apparently their brand sled got smoked by a Cat that weekend and they just join to stir the pot, it happens most Mondays when they get in front of a computer or whatever once they get home. This site is a good one and so is A-Chat. This site has a "no bashing zone" and most of A-Chat is that way, not all though. I can post all of his remarks on this site and prove what an idiot he is, but really that's beneath me. We have loosened the reins at A-chat over the last few years and I really let most everything slide. But once in a blue moon a Jethro Bodeen shows up and is dealt with appropriately. Shit happens, what else can I say?

i will summarize it for you. Guy posts need help on this issue on a 10 year old firecat something or other pos. hour passes by and he posts a sarcastic thanks for all the help. mod posts it has only been hour people have jobs and it will take time before someone can help you (not the exact words). then a post comes up mods are dicks and are chasing people away. now we have post here how achat sucks. I am still laughing how childest people can be.

A newbie jumps on and asks a question and I answer It , The Newbie responds while I am typing asking if "Anybody out there" And then some Hot shot dik mod jumps down his throat about being impatient. I responded that it wasnt a Mods job to scare off Newbies and that wasnt away a dying site should act. Then a Second Mod jumped in and ripped the same Newbie again. So, I being the "nice" guy stood up for him and wanted a "TOP" Mod to step in. I got Cnote private messaging trying to smooth things over. I wasnt told I was removed from that dying AC site, I said I want to be removed! SO piss off Tiger, you are just as bad as the other mods over there. Lying, and deceitful little men.

I have been a member and always a seasonal contributor to A-chat for 10 yrs. I have solely been into Arctic cat sledding for 35 yrs. I have diagnosis and repaired more AC sleds on the trail or at home than most. I was offering free advise and you, over there was trying to deter someone from participating in a sport i love.
