facebook i believe, but that is a wasteland in itself. post something for sale there. you will a million questions day one, and not one serious buyer. Thats why serious buyers still pick up the phone, and why i seldom text or email anyone.

the password reset? no. if that is stopping you from using a forum, then you weren't that interested in the first place.

With declining members, you'd think mods here and there would be more helpful. However they aren't, and the results speak for themselves.

Just a few days ago I reset my password for Arcticchat because I hadn't been on in a while. Once I got logged on, it said the last time I was logged in was sometime in 2008. I don't plan on going back over anytime soon from what I saw...

You can't really do lengthy threads but I enjoy the FB axys groups. And since your posting with your real FB profile with your name on it, there's a lot more accountability and less hooligans

Aren't Polaris always the most cranky?

Oh wait that's just anyone who snowmobiles and has a winter with no damn snow!!!!!

Life's too short not to grip and rip on any machine you can. Drive it like you stole it but relax enough to enjoy it too!!!

Damn over anxious admins!!!

ArcticChat used to be a great resource for knuckleheads like me who were new to sledding 10 years ago. I had some Mid 90's Cats and found a plethora of info on that site and guys like AG and C-Note were exceptionally helpful.

The final straw for me was when the Admin named dadszr deleted a comment I made about a ThunderCat engine pic someone had posted. I posted "Those engines give me a boner!" and he deleted my response and sent me a nastygram PM about not tolerating that kind of language. When I accused him of selective Moderating and found post after post of 4-letter words being used he said I was "grasping at straws". That was the beginning of the end of me. Shame too, used to be a great site.

I've found the info for my early 2000 ZRs on this site to be excellent from guys like stronger800 and some of the other ZR/ZL regulars. Super helpful and always spot on.

I know a lot of you guys are old school (nothing wrong with that) but times do change. My generation has grown up with FB/twitter and other social medias integrated into our lives. Whether it's good or not (I don't believe it 100% is, I like being up north with no phone reception) it's how things are now

sled forums would benefit have one large go-to forum. ty will die on its own as they have the biggest moron on the web running that place. dootalk is strong for sure. Sometimes having one good one is better than 4 separate subpar ones.

Now if there was an IT guy that was worth-a-shit and understood how business worked, there is opportunity out there. Not in the forums though.

THis is why ARCTICCHAT.COM is Dying

Youve got to love the guys on Facebook with limited knowledge trying to help Joe somebody diagnose something that's been rehashed on this forum like no tomorrow. I usually send them here... the drama with that one or even 2 power hungry admins will never go away. Annoying as it is, there are ways to avoid that mess, USUALLY [emoji23]

it was that you totally talked tough about doing the challenge with me, and d-bagged out. sad but true. hcs most mean too much, or you question your skill set on a sled versus me. i mean who doesn't like a loser goes home forever match.

I may have to take the stalker off ignore, just so I can see what he's saying. But I'm pretty sure it's nothing more than stalking ... so why bother. Someone will quote him, I'm pretty confident.

Good night BABE :laff:

He wasn't a " young anxious sledder looking for help" He came there and his first post was bashing, 2nd post, bashing, then he got into an argument with C-note.
I've read all of his deleted posts and they deserved to be deleted. He must have stepped over the line in a PM because now I see he is banned. His first posts were telling others (OP) that they bought the wrong sled and their sled is junk, this isnt going to make many friends on any site. There are 2 sides to every story. The password fiasco lost 75% of the members- not a good thing at all.
