Fastest is known to be the '03.  Some prefer the "lighter" feeling and "faster" backshifting of the diamond drive.  :dunno:

The handling on the 05 is impressive, I'd like to run against a stock 03 on the lake though, hopefully soon this friggen weather sucks.

yeah the chaincase drive system makes the sled ride very rough and handle poorly.

Ride rough? Handle poorly??? Hey chisel, maybe you should ride a sled before critiquing it.

NO bull,, stock for stock the DD is mostly slower, seen them radared both 900 and F7's the Chain case sleds always radared more on the same conditions. sometimes 5 to 10 mph between them.

All 900's are good. Just think of the expensivetechnologicaladvances everyone else hasmade to keep up with the green machine. The 900 is a bargain. Who else can modify a new sled for less. think hard. A sdi 1000 skud has its work cut out and costs lots. Save a few grand and modify your green sleeper. The listen to all the yellow excuses. I have a ZRT 800 worth maybe 2g's that hangs withem. Hmm. Tough one. Greensmean. And every one is scared of what Cat has up there sleeve.
Overandout
Slickster..........

Yeah. I got to agree with you. Look at the general forum. There's always F7 vs ?? in there, most of the time it's compared to a machine that costs thousands more, or bigger size. One can do alot of tuning for the cost difference. Hell I can find two 03 ZR9's for the cost of one sdi 1000, and also throw a trailer in the mix..
