yep same frame! you will need different motor mounts. try and find a complete motor and bolt it in! hope this helps!

 

I think the jackshaft is different also.

600 jack shaft is shorter than the 800,900&1000 jack shaft. I also think they are geared differently stock.

 

thanks guys i went and look at the motor and its bigger by another shaft in the front of the engine, thats why i didnt think it would fit.

 

one last thing is the 600 zrt pipes useable on the zrt 800 or do i have to buy a new pipes

The factory gearing for the ZRT 800 is 24/39, 0-5000'. For the ZRT 600, 23/40...

 

23/40 is good for the 800 also, gives ya a bit more bottom.

 

You need to change the clutch side rear motor mount , the whole deal where it rivets to the frame there....and get some 800 pipes.
