I figured. Thought about getting one in the future but I’m mostly trail rider. Some say they handle great but I just don’t believe they turn. And the no rear coupling has got to be ridiculous. If I move my blocks back it’s fun for 10 minutes but too much ski lift it’s ridiculous

thinking 137 possibly if I don’t keep this sled long term. I’m nearing 3000 trouble free hard ass miles. So far so good. Thinking maybe just rebuild around 5000 to be safe

Oh and thanks to Mike and Josh for helping me with my sled. I’m sure they are annoyed with all the messages lol

And to Phil for the clutch / engine alignment

The Assaults can be made to turn, and handle well on trails, without a lot of work, just some basics. Many owners want them to be wheelie machines.

I hope so lol. Jumps and wheelies great Turn bars and it goes straight unless I’m go 25 and under. I know it needs some work but I may never get used to it. I went around a corner I do on my sled at 55 I thought I was a dead man at 30

that shit gets old and proves nothing I don’t get it

I haven’t touched my suspension from the dealer other than hd springs and coupling blocks which I’ve settled on stock at 3 anyways . Handles great imo

I feel you at 250 6 foot even. You probably need the xhd. They were a bit too much on mine even on low. Hd on high is about right for me. Medium bottoms out too much

I just turned 40. Kind of old I guess. I been riding solo this year mostly so I usually ride at 80% or so to be safe . Being crazy and blowing turns isn’t safe for anyone. Gotta stay on your side in turns even though it’s rarely the fastest line. I’m lucky to still be alive with the crap I did 10 years ago . Live and learn

Take a look at Matryx Accessories post and scroll down to the SUSPENSION section. You will find 6 different springs for the Pro-CC suspension, and 3 more longtails intended for the Matryx 600 INDY Cross Country 136, but can be used on other Pro-CC sleds with relocation of the spring guides.

I’ve had a bunch of sleds. My 14 Indy 800 SP 121 was the fastest sled though trails I’ve ever had and it’s not even close. Short tracks are faster in the turns period

it had nothing but 7.5 shapers and 144 studs. Never touched anything else. I might even buy another one. Still kind of miss it. It was pretty fast too

Thanks Troy. Good thing we did it. Your sled was way too far out of good alignment. And had zero float. How can Polaris sell a $23,000 sled that way? My one riding buddy had one that wore a belt out on 800 miles. My own Boost was almost as bad, but I realigned it before riding it. It reached 110 mph speedo in about 660 ft on 3-4" of snow at Starvation Lake near Mancelona a few years ago. That was totally stock.
