Track adjustment

Is the limiter strap adjustable on the 07 Z1 (EB) ? I had one that the bolt adjusted the strap as you tightened the bolt. Others have had various settings on the strap. It looks like this sled is one setting on the strap.

What I am trying to do is get the track to dig in more. I am getting lots of spin and fish tailing when getting on the gas wither straight away but especially in corners. Skis track well. I am a heavy 230 # so one would think there is 'enuff weight on the track not so spin out so much. I have fooled with the spring pre load on a 3 settings on the cam. Any other adjustments I should try?

try setting up your coupler blocks.

Thanks Dukie, have tried the cam on all 3 settings, and with it all the way "up" I did get improvement tonite after adjusting shocks up ft. a few turned counterclockwise. So will keep playing with the shocks a bit more.

The straps are not adjustable by the factory but I pulled my suspension out and drilled holes on the upper gussets about 1/2" back from the originals holes. This has put a touch more weight on the skis and my 07 Z1 seems to roll better. Its easy to do, hope this helps. :yelrotflmao:

Hacksaw are junk ...plain and simple..I have the same set up and it spins and no braking to them..!.25 or more ripsaw....
