The 02 supersport would have an edge skid. The 133 has me questioning it though. I don't think they offered one for those. Is this an extension kit on the rails?

Also, I know a guy that mounted an edge skid in his xcr and he claims it made a world of difference in the ride. Iirc he has to run the tensioners all the way forward, like the skid should have been forward just a little more in the tunnel.

 

i have 2 2000 xcr , one has a m 10 skid the other has a edge skid both 121 , the edge is by far better ride

 

Like said poo didn't build a 550 ss in 02 that had a 133 skid. It must be a 121 edge skid with extended rails that someone did.

If it's a 2000 model year skid, it should be a variation of an xtra 10. The edge wasn't around until 2001.

 

Thank you. I just reviewed the history of these suspensions. Also, there were no tracks @ Tracks USA that were 133"

 

Polaris offered the Polaris 550 Trail Touring in the Gen2 body with 133.5" xtra-10 skid until 03 IIRC.

 

Almost sure a couple that were friends of ours had a 00 classic touring with a 133 track also.
