I have a 2019 zr 8000 137. I just purchased a bd extreme pro series clutch kit. Just curious if anyone has run one and what they thought of it. Was there any issues running reverse? My Sled was running 8300 RPM and though the torque on acceleration was great I felt as though there is more left on the table. So I was hoping to find some thing that is adjustable and could help bring the sled back down to where it makes the power. I was also hoping to make the sled more playful. Thanks for any help

4000 is not bad. Just giving you a headsup. If ssi is running the new helix they offer i think it will work well. They dont use that 54-48 anymore i believe.

Im not sure what primary spring they come with. Im betting its a 120/265 silver spring. Which may be ok. It may act a little rev happy unless you load the tip. Since cats are usually a 225-235 finish for that particular sled

Venom has a purple white which is 120/240 i may try out. The 225 stocker works ok. A 240 would possibly be snappier in the trails without causing the need for a ton of tip weight. And should keep engagement around 39-4000. Depending on weight design.

Purple red is @140/265 when measured at the installed height of team clutch with delrin washers, it will engage at 3300-3500 with 77-79 grms. accelerate on your torque and run out on hp peek. use the adjustable weights to hit at these points. or purple/green will give you more rpm on top which youll load tip to control.

That engagement is on a 17 though correct? My 17 engaged at 3150 stock with a 105/255. When i ran the 130/250 purple/red it was around that 3400 mark. I ended up running the 160/268 purple/orange to get 4k enggagement.

Where my 2018 engaged around 3650 stock with a 85/225. Im going to run a 100-120 start rate and 250-265 finish on this sled.

2.7/1.7 rates.

The kit came today and for and finish look nice. I set up the weights according to their recommendation but I think I now have a problem. I after adding the magnets I decided to take out my handy archery scale and weigh each weight. Each one weighs different. I ended up getting 78.4,79.1 and 79.4. Has any ever weighed weighs to make sure they were all the same? Should I be concerned?

I run the and they have been fine. You will have to tune the weights to your needs and riding style but overall it has worked well.
