Going to put together an emergency tool kit for the coming season. Hoping of course I will not need or come across anyone else who needs help but I want to be able to provide assistance if that does happen.
So what are the most commonly used tools for working on the matryx chassis and the best tools for an emergency tool kit?

I posted this last year and stand by it. I've figured out how to create additional space this year and I'm adding more items. Just in case. I know you can't do much for trailside repairs anymore, but it's nice to know I have some options to patch something up well enough to get home or to a reasonable pickup point. I ride in the UP a lot with sketchy cell coverage and towns that often shut down at 9 PM.

T-25 and T-40 torx are most common as well as 10,12,15mm sockets/wrenches. Aside from those items the usual things like combination tool (leatherman) cable ties, some wire, rope etc.

This is from sgpopp
Pliers
Screwdriver set with replacable tips
1/4" nut driver
Air Force wrench
1/4" ratchet
SAE and Metric allen
Polaris tool kit torx
10, 12, 13, 15 MM sockets
1/4" extension
10, 12, 13, 15 MM stubby wrenchs
7/16" wrench
3 mini rolls of duct tape
Scotchbrite pad
Emergency fire starter
Lighter
Swiss army kinife
Flashlight
Hunting Knife
Spare key switch (looooong story)
Tow strap kit
Hat
Gloves

Not shown or will be added
1/2" wrench
Safety wire
Electrical tape
Wad of paper towels
Zip ties
Cable saw

I put all the tools in the tool kit and that sits on the bottom and sort of acts as a cushion. Everything else sits on top. As Fast Polaris said, it all sits under the seat, and I hope I never need to use it. If I do, there's enough in there to make a half ass repair to likely get me out of the woods and someplace safe.

1/8" Allen for primary weight and secondary adjuster. 3/8" wrench for primary weight and cover bolts. 7/16" wrench for secondary adjuster

I just put together my tools purchase for my emergency tool kit. I still have a few items I need to buy for it. Assuming I can fit everything in the rear storage and still have a little room for an extra bottle of oil and tow rope and straps. Going to store my other emergency kit stuff in the behind dash storage. Hopefully everything will fit okay.
Here is my tool kit.
knife, extendable magnet, basic pliers, 3/8" drive ratchet, 1/4" drive ratchet, 3/8" to 1/4" adapter, 1/4" to 3/8" adapter, 6 point sockets in 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, 16mm 17mm, torx sockets t25, t27, t30, t40, allen socket 1/8" and 3/16", metric allen sockets 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 5.5mm, and 6mm allen, combination wrenches in 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16" 10mm, 12mm, 13mm, and 15mm.
Still got to add a flat blade and phillips screwdriver. I may also add a 1/4" nut driver and possibly a couple short wrenches otherwise that is my complete tool kit.
