I just got back from a short ride down waterville trail (which is crap because of some asshole on his atv) to the sub station and out to lake dennison. The quater mile was fast hit tripple digits but was shiting my pants with no studs and the ass end feeling a little squirly!!! There was lots of bare patches and for the most part it was all ice. No cooling for the slides. In all there is a great base for if and when we get some more snow. I think I'll have to take the 86 cheetah long track out tomorrow night. At least the ice is looking good to get the drag sleds out. Thats the only good that came from this rain.

Anyway, I kicked a guy out of the main trail next to my house, just after it rained he was unloading the quads, at the end of my driveway, so I walked over and asked why he was going to ruin the trails, he said because he could, pretty much! I said have fun, but how many spares do ya have for your truck? I hope 4, he went about ten feet turned around and loaded it back into his truck!! The clubs have worked so hard over the past 30 plus years at making these trails. Land owners hate them and they are slow as hell when you come up on one. It is one thing when the snow is hard and packed but they are rarely out then they always go out when the snow is soft. The atv community really needs to make there own network of trails and bann sleds from them. I'm really ticked off at how much this one quad ruined the waterville trail because I had countless hours trimming back this section of trail this fall so we all can have a flat wide trail. The bombi followed up and groomed it several times to make it the best I've seen it in the four years I have lived out here. To top if off I'm sure the piece of shit quad didn't even have a same pass!

My main access to the ITS Trails is a 4 mile long old cart road through the woods in Petersham. Usually it is really a nice ride. Since the snow was early this year some hunter (nothing against hunters) dedcided he needed to plow private property so he could get in and out. So roughly 2 miles of this old path is half assed plowed with truck ruts. DICK HEAD. Saw the trucked parked in the woods with the plow but I am not that type of person. I have to find the picks of the Buick that decided to drive down the trail 2 years ago and got stuck. I really wanted to ride up and over that one with my studs.
