Received a call from my dealer ( just this morning) for the first time since snowcheck order. The only email I ever received from was Polaris putting me on the 12/ 15 “shipped by group but have just been informed my starfire SBA is pushed back to quote: any day in February (then add weeks to that for arrival) . I consider myself lucky to be honest as I have something else to ride but did sell my primary best sled to owning my new Polaris. I felt bad for my dealer having to call me and tell me this as he sounded stressed over the phone (truly) and appreciates my understanding as to where the fault lay. A short conversation ended with saying something positive that it could maybe come in earlier based on how totally unpredictable this whole mess is. We also both agreed it would not be wise to think 2023 snowcheck what so ever! Im still looking forward to getting it and will point my complaints in the only direction it should first be sent to no matter what anybody thinks on this sight. Polaris.... for what it’s worth, I asked what is the reasons for delay and they said still a spindle, 7s, EGT, oil cap, and... ignition! Snowchecked in March so looking at a 1 yr Offer by Polaris to there priority, hardcore , loyal , customers as mentioned .Hang in there guys don’t beat up on your dealers they are hand cuffed just like us.

That's unfortunate. I totally agree this is not on the dealers. This falls on Polaris 100%.

The dealers are as far away the east is from the west on having anything to do with it. The whole calendar is completely off buy season to deliver the vehicles they produce. SBS and ATVs are coming in now, sleds are coming in spring for sure, watercraft is coming in in winter..... a mess. My dealer is over flowing with new dirt bikes and some street bikes at the moment... he’ll sit on those till summer.. think of your dealer threw all this as to what there being asked to Handel and do! Id leave the doors wide open and walk away if was me.

Maybe a person wouldn't feel so betrayed if the patterns they continue to follow changed at all. I switched dealers thinking the late deliveries in the past had something to do with that....I guess not....just the way they do business.??

I may feel somewhat sympathetic if they didn't blab and brag that they extrapolated their needs and secured strong relationships with suppliers and "learnt lessons" from previous year snowcheck fuckups and that they were certain they could deliver their snowcheck demands because of the infrastructure they had laid down despite the pandemic.

What a load of horseshit.

What Polaris model/pkg/color did you actually snowcheck...And would you be willing to take a roadtrip to get your exact sled or something close that may be sitting on a dealers showroom floor with all it's components and ready to be delivered to any off the street buyer...

My dealer called me to get ahead of the email from Polaris going out Monday. I ordered a XCR 850 7s, RWB, Ice ripper XT and it is now pushed back to January. No firm date in January provided. Dealer advises they have received approximately 20% of their Snow Check orders. I am in Southern Ontario.

It's official, my 2022 XCR 850 RWB 136" with 1.6" Cobra and 7s display that was slated for 12/15 ship date just got pushed to a date range of 1/1/2022 thru 1/31/2022. Highly unlikely I'm sure that I will see it before February 1st since you have to figure in shipping time and some dealer prep. Dealer says I could cancel anytime before the ship date and get my $500 back but once it ships no refunds. I asked about moving it to a 2023 snowcheck and he said he could keep the $500 deposit and move it to a 2023 if I decide to go that route. Anyone know how real these rumors are of a 2023 boosted trail sled?

In the Snowcheck program it states we must take delivery by 12/31. Polaris obviously can’t enforce that, due to their issues. Now, they are saying we can’t get our deposit back after it ships, which may be in March. I think for that to hold up in court they would actually have to give you an exact ship date. They have demonstrated their inability to do this. People have been given a ship date by Polaris, only to be called by their dealer the next day to tell them their sled has arrived.

Just got a follow up email from Polaris my dates now pushed back to Dec 31. Current excuse is drive shaft shortages, okay then why are so many floor models built first? They have the same drive shaft as a VR-1 snow check model that’s now delayed all so called Star fire series sleds should have ran down the assembly line first.
