Just rode this trail today, from Gravenhurst to Bracebridge the trails are a little rough (in need of a groom), once you get North of Bracebridge the trails get much better, actually they were awsome with the exception of a few area's.

I believe we turned around just south of Huntsville and headed back, took the D trail the entire way.

Enjoy your ride.

Well We just got back from spending three days in the Happy Wanderers trails and venture threw four or five other clubs areas and in my opinion, Muskoka trails is in need of a deep freeze.

The trail that were groomed are in good condition, but due to the last rain a week or so back, it FU$%K$d up any swamp or creeks to flow, and slowly they are. because the water levels are not going down and overnight lows are not low enough to ice up to allow safe passage.

Here are a few pics, and also note that I drowned my Sled on the top trail just 10k south of Sprucedale. I am sure you locals know were I am talking about. I found myself with my sled in about six feet or more of cold water. We managed to pull it out, then undressed myself and ring out the water out of my boots and sox and pants, then onto to Spruce dale to gas up. Was not able to take a picture because my camera was also in the water.

Yes I did managed to keep the motor obove water, she's OK.

And no we did not go on any lakes, the trails were just as unsafe to ride on.

The day I went out to Sprucedale, I did not allow my 12 year old son to tag along with us with his sled because the trails are not safe for familly ventures. Hopefully we will be able to do so in a few weeks.

The following pics were taken Sunday coming back from Baseville just before the Irishman rest stop near Woodlake. The two people on the 500 indy is my wife and son that fell off the sled in the mud hole that you see behind them.

Cheers :imo:

that doesn't look too bad concidering the warm up that we had, i mean no one wants to go muddin but hey its only a snowmobile. anyways some trails around here district 8 have some mud holes just like that. mostly behind heidi's trailer park, and between the 2nd and 3rd lines of oro. with the cold weather coming it should help out alot, and allow save passage for groomers, because no one likes road rash detours. at least its still better than last year, because we seen these conditions in late january.
