Burandts Backcountry Adventure

Has anyone here gone on one of the Burandts Backcountry Adventure rides at his lodge in CO? Or gone up to British Columbia to ride with him? Or even better yet gone to Chile in August to ride with him in the Andes mountains? (That would be so sweet!)

I ride a lot on Lake St Clair, MI and in northern LP and eastern UP but would love to go out West and do some guided backcountry riding on a mountain sled.

Any input on the Burandt rides or any other guided rides would be great.

I'd bet you'd get a bunch more bang for the buck with a lesser known name.

If you're thinking BC there are tons of locals around Revelstoke or Golden that do the same thing for less. Likely all you would have to do is show up at the right time with the right equipment and you will find your guides for the week at any bar or fuel station. You're sure to have a blast.

Ive gone backcounty in golden and revelstoke. I liked golden better. More above treeline highmarking and such.

If you go to golden, you can take a guided tour to Gorman Lake, very little traffic there. And you can go to quartz creek without a guide, theres a cabin and more sledders around.
