Ride her like its a rental, if not at 1k mi it'll still be dripping oil out the exhaust. Everyone told me AMSOIL was no good, so I run it to verify

Not everyone!

It states that the advanced version has the PROPERTIES of Synthetic. Legend calls it a HYBRID. :ROFLMAO:
Lots of chatter about oils and I think some believe there is a magic potion out there that will fix everything. Basically, oil isn't the weak link so looking for a magic one is fairly useless. I can say that I have used Legend for over 20 years in every 2 stroke I own including over 30 snowmobiles, some with over 10k miles on them. Never once did I blow a motor, foul a plug, or have oil-related breakdown. My most impressive was 2002 Polaris 700 with 12000 miles no loss of compression ran like new when I sold it. I can't say its all the oil but I think its a big part of it. They run better and crisper too. I've even empty the tank on my new sleds and replace it right from the start. Show me something better and I'll use it but its a hard record to beat.

Okay, so many if us where running into aluminum carb and fuel modules in boats after switch to e10 many years ago. I deal mostly with mercury outboards and mercruiser inboards. Issues subsided once a fellow marine mech told me about pulling fuel line from tank and putting it in a small remote tank with 40:1-50:1 premixed fuel and a splash of stabilizer. Run engine until you see skight blue smoke from tailpipes. Done ! Fuel module/pump/ metal fuel lines/injectors /carb bowls/etc all lubed and protected for storage.

Mercruiser caught wind after we where posting this secret sauce around the bigger boating sites, other mech’s, marina’s etc, where trying it, and then found it to wirk snd then started suggesting it. They call it soup. Lol.

That Mercury MPI system SOUP is 10:1 gas/oil ratio. That is very thick SOUP, but the smoke will tell you when the entire fuel system is full of SOUP.

Supposedly they changed THEIR version as it was fouling plugs. Lol. They did not change the rstio thetevi guess.
My ratio is 40:1. Works well in my experience + my 2 stroke home equipment do well on 40:1 too, therefore i use the same jug. :)

Many Yamaha snowmobile engines inject oil into the fuel pump directly where it lubes fuel pump, carbs, and engine all the time it runs at a variable ratio dependent on throttle opening.

I've been mixing marine stabilizer and extra oil in the gas tank for summarization for years. I think its better than trying to fog the engine.

As a rule some synthetic oils don't offer a lot of long term corrosion protection in your engine like a mineral oil will. Its why fogging become more important. Lot depends where a sled is stored in the off season to.

I'm old school... used marine grade stabil and marvel mystery oil in the tank.
I do this in my bike (Harley) also... keeps the inside of the tank oiled up.

I've made a mix of acetone, and marvel mystery oil to loosen rusty bolts, but never tried it inside my gas tank. I guess when you own a harley, they need all the help they can get.
My Harley has been quite reliable for over 50,000 miles, thank you (it's a 2014). The oil is meant to coat the tank (steel). My dad used that stuff in sleds back in the 1970s to store them. Seemed to work well back then too. I have over 10,000 miles on a 2017 Cat - so something worked!
