I'm finding that snow builds up on my '14 Indy's running boards make them extremely slippery. Can someone recommend something I can simply add onto to them to provide some much needed grip?

1/4 drill bit,and counter sink to debur the top, debur from the top. Do not drill out the skid bracket holes. Put your track up on blocks that will give you room to work... BTW you can go bigger in drill size if you want, I went small But always can go bigger if needed

I may conside just drilling mine out. I thought I saw a thread on here where some used a dimple die and made them larger. but cost of die.... Did a quick Google search for some options.

Looks like one could drill the holes out larger to get snow to fall through and add some grips.

I agree. Plus the crimp is already done. I used right angle drill. Was able to do it with sled on the floor. Decided I wanted to go bigger than 1/4". Had done one side 1/4". Very easy with sharp bit. But ended up going to 21/64 (.328 next good bit I had) Found out the hard way, use largest bit you want to in the first place. I had more deburring to do on the side I drilled twice. Other side went right for the bigger bit & was almost burr free. GREAT traction, snow evacuation, maybe a little more fluid/dust hits track & didn't weaken boards any. Plus free! What else you got WT? I'm using ALL your tips. Now if only my scratchers would get in before next ride!:bc:

I bought a couple packs of rox grip strips and they are wicked! 6 on each side I ran 3 on each last year but they are the best foot traction iv ever had highly recommended they don't dump snow but I haven't had a real loss of traction since I had them on due to ice build up
