Does anyone deal with action auto parts? I bought a sled clutch from a guy there this last winter. To make a long story short he owes me a refund he promised after I shipped it back. It's been a few months now. I can get him on the phone, he says he'll send it but never does. Any ideas?

I would love to get in his face but unfortunately it's too far (saskatoon). I thought maybe someone knew the place and could drop a few words.

Maybe I can be of some help.  My uncle works there, as well as 2 of my regular customers at work.  I'll see what I can do.

Hey thanks, give him some time for his latest promise to come through. I'll keep you informed if I get payment!

No time like right now to have someone go down and work it out with him face to face. If he has made the promise he is in a willing state of mind right now so its time to have someone stand there with there hand out in front of him and his co-workers and customers. Me along with what looks like the rest of the Manitoba boys here are willing to help. Let someone help you with this. THe hell with his timeline, patience is not an option fo you when he has blown smoke up your ass for as long as it sounds already.

LEt us do something to sort this out. PM me or any of the others that have offered.

This guy does not seem to have an understanding of the situation he has put you in. Just let someone go down there and pick up the cash for you, PM me your PayPal account and I will take care of it for you. The guys on the forum should vouch for me, I am not going to take your cash and run. Nobody here wants to see you get bent over on this deal anymore. Let someone help you...unless you have assurances from the latest visit...

Let us know.

Geez, Willis is a straight shooter, don't know him really good but I have know him for 10 years plus, good guy, if you are still having trouble simply talk to him yourself. If everything you are telling us is true make him aware or the situation youa re having with one of his guys and he will make it good for you. Just get it done, this sounds really simple...I am questioning if are we getting all the information.

OK, I am happy to report that my refund plus shipping expenses was in my mailbox this morning

Just in case it was not clear, it was a person at action auto not the company. Although this person holds a title there. He used action auto to ship and recieve plus a phone number for contact, that's how I knew of the place.

For those of you doubting a little:
I would get in contact with the person, he would promise me the refund and I would wait for it to show up. It never so I would phone again, get the promise and wait. Repeat

When I first posted this I was hoping someone knew the people there and could just mention that they should get this handled. Sometimes just knowing that other people are aware of your misdealings will spur them on to do the right thing.

I first sent the payment on the 27th of dec and now have finally recieved my refund today. Even if you take off a couple months for shipping (winnipeg to saskatoon) you can see it's been awhile.

Thank you everyone for the concern, help offered and help done. I an amazed at how many people cared. Your a great bunch of guys :beerchug: :beerchug:
