I'm looking to buy an 800 sled soon and have been going back and forth between the Doo and the Polaris. How reliable is the axys 800 H.O? How long will they last if I take care of it? Is their a year better than others? What years got updates? I see the 18s had the MY18 update which addressed the crank problems. Does that mean anything older than 18 will have crank problems?

I have a 2017 Assault 800HO. 2500 miles and not a single issue with the sled.... Obviously if youÂ’re looking for one and want the latest updates, shoot for a 2018 or 2019.... ThereÂ’s decent rebates and finance options on leftover 18Â’s (in Manitoba, Canada at least). You wonÂ’t be disappointed in the 800HO and the 144 assault skid is a blast on and off trail.... Just donÂ’t read anything about the 850 once you buy an 800 or youÂ’ll want one of them haha.... I rode a dealer demo last weekend.... The vibrations are far less then the 800 and the power is smooth and linear.... And, seems to be quite a bit more punch to!!! Anyway, hope that helps!
2017 800 - 3600 miles and total engine failure, dealer could not figure out why. Full motor replaced under warranty
15' 800 Rush Pro-s, 7000 miles best sled I've ever owned, compression is great, just cleaned the valves and peaked inside, no marks looks great!
