8.5 is wide enough to go 2 wide. You should be able to fit 4 129's straight in no problem right? Have him put both on one side to see

 

I have a 8.5'x20' with no v front and you can fit (4) 121" snowmobiles for sure. I know you can also fit one 121" and one 137" in on one side. Might be able to get (4) 136" snowmobiles depending on the manufacture (some tunnels are longer than others). I don't think (4) 129" would be a problem.

 

I used to haul my two Renegade 137's with a 10' clam, 101" wide. That trailer can definitely fit 4 sleds.

 

The inner fender wells will be a issue depending how they are setup along the length of the trailer.
Maybe the rear of them need to be side by side around wheel wells.
Dirt late model race cars build ramp overs to allow wide front ends to go over top of the wheel wells inside the trailer, that would allow full 8.5' width of the trailer a lot like a deck over does

 

I should mention my trailer is a deckover.

YUP so should fit 4 easy enough, unless they are a new 176 track or something like that.

if it has a 4-5 foot v it can fit 5 if one is a 136 or less.

 

How are you getting 5 in it? all facing rear? iv'e been wondering if it would fit, I have a 8.5x20 deck over with a 4ft V

 

I’m looking to buy a 8.5 x 20ft R&R Snofire with 4ft V. I’ll buy it if I can fit 4 137” Snocross chassis sleds in it. Can anyone confirm this will work? They make a 24ft but it’s $2k more and a triple axle, don’t want to go that route.

 

Got a 8.5x20 plus V, fit 2x146 a 137 and a 154 with still room for gear.

 

You could try the wedge technique. Load two sleds in the front of the trailer, secure the front with tie downs or clamps. Use a wedge made out of wood to raise the rear of the front two sleds. Drive the two back sled onto the trailer and partially under the rear of the raised front two.
