i have a firecat f7 but i wanna buy a 440 s/p which is more reliable w/. a trail set-up on pump gas? 03-04 arctic cat 400 s/p or a 03-04 polaris pro-x 440 s/p? try not to be bias you arctic cat people..! lol

i cant answer your question. i really think its a matter of opinion where as neither one is incredibly greater then the other. i personaly like the pro-x over the 02-05 sno pro, i love the 01 sp though. if you go for the pro-x make sure you change the water pump gears. i think it was a problem on the 04's and you were spose to switch the gears with the 03's, maybe you knew that. just make sure to do some research before hand, which is always good :div20:

after 03 the 440 cat takes a lot of work to get it trail worthy.

if an 04-newer cat 440 s/p has the trail heads and the chip is re mapped is there anything else needed to run reliably? and also are they even reliable at all even if they are fully trail converted? and the rev 440? hows that>?
