I have a 2015 ZR 7000 El Tigre and love it. My wife is showing interest in sledding so I talked to my local dealer and he has a 2014 ZR 6000 El Tigre with 3500 miles on it for $5400.00 Canadian. Is this a good deal and how do folks like the CTec 2 engine

I have a friend with one and she likes hers a lot. I've ridden it once in North Bay when we were there and on the icy semi bumpy trail that i rode it on I found it a nice riding sled but when trying to do over 70mph not so great. But if she is a normal rider she'll do fine on it. The engine has been good. There were some clutching things she didn't like but a kit from someone fixed that. She has around 3500 on hers right now.

Thanks for the reply Steve. What was the issue with the ride after 70 mph?

There is none. I had a 2015 and currently have a 2018 and a 2020. Top end on my 18 broke 100. No issues going 70- 80 what so ever. If the sled is clean and serviced I would think that price is in the ball park. Motor is bullet proof!

Thanks for the reply Jim.
From what I have read the new CTec2 is a 600 class beast and very reliable, looking forward to spending lots of seat time on the new sled

try posting in the Procross section if you haven't already. This ZR/ZL section is majority 90's/early 2000's ZR/ZL topics and doesn't get much traffic.
