i need to replace my springs in my clutch on my zl 600efi 2003. i would just take it to my dealer but i don't want to spend my money sence i don't have my job any more as a farmer. so i was woundering if anyone hase had to replace theirs before if so please give me full instructions on how to do it and what should i buy for springs?

if cost is a factor, you may want to take it to a dealer unless you have a friend with tools. for what you would spend on half of the tools needed, you could pay for the labor. if you are interested in tinkering and saving some $ down the road, id say do it yourself.

If all your clutches need are springs, and probably cam arm bushings, I'd say do it yourself. Buy a good clutch puller about $30. If you have to replace the spider, or rebuild it, then it would probably be more cost effective to purchase a new one.
