Put a set of Simmons Gen 2 Skis on my 08 Z1 Nightfire......here's my first impressions after 30mi on average trails with 3 to 4 inchs of powder on 2 foot base. Lots of 1 to 2 foot bumps and some reasonably flat trails with lots of corners.

...They are ugley...(but beauty is in they eye of the beholder) ---looks like a pair of 1 * 10 Inch black boards with curved tips

...They are 9 inches wide with carbide ( 4 inch) rods licated 6 inches apart e.g. 2 inches in from each edge.

...Steering little to no difference---maybe slightly harder....if so, not much

...No Trail darting-----period!!!!!

...Less trail chatter in 1 footers

...Better bump absorption when hitting washouts

...No Ski Lift

...No ski push---really rails for loose snow

Sorry on pictures at this time----will post pics in a couple of weeks.

Cool, I have an old set that I will try once the trails get better. I just using the stock set of carbides on these bad trails now, then the Simmons go on the sled.

Pics please!!! I'm glad the performance is there. I miss the non-darting aspects of my old Simmons. I may go to these if they get good reports.
