Scott Norine Predator711 will be at the dyno 8am tomorrow, brand new F7 with 03 04 05 06 ECUs. Bill Looneytune DiFranco will be there to help and to agitate.
Plus we have a dandy pile of untested new stuff to try on Scott's Sled. This will be live on the dyno webcams, please forgive the f words, if you try to open site and it says "access denied" that probably means your sub has expired, you need to punch your $20 and your info back in to secure site, you will get user ID/ Passwd in 5 minuted by computer.

After we're done with Scott's sled Sean Ray is dynoing his dad Rex' new Fusion 600. That sled will sit on the dyno for a few days as we try to round up aftermarket HP things to assess.

I think you will see tomorrow that there is not a real noticable diff. between the 05 and 06 ecus . I think if you have a 03 or 04 it might be but maybe not . That's what all this testing is for . I love this time of year ......................everybody starts getting their stuff all figured out for winter .

I don't think you really need a update though do you ? Maybe just a key and a pac ? Tuned to the max . :div20:

For the 03's, are you referring to an updated ECU? How have you seen the 'non' updated ECU's. This update is the one done early 2003 due to the seizing. From what I understand, it really 'fattened' them up and made them much more rich.

Dave as far as racing goes there's not much differance, but trailability wise the differance is very very noticable. I tested the 06 boxes half of last season and the 06 box was far superior to my 05 box for the trail, on a radar run there was no differance at all in mph.

that's good to know . I thought the 05 box was the best so far for power and trailibility ......I think the 06 is within a 1/2 hp or so peak but if your saying the drivibility is way better thats even more good news . I thought the 05 was leaps and bounds better than my 04 and the 03's I have ridden . :beerchug:

Need a Boondocker for big bores not matter what year ECU you have, just as stated above. I heard 148 HP with a 2* key and D&D Y pipe and PAC. Order the Y pipe now, it's going to be a hot seller. That was worth 2+ HP and some more torque all by itself and let the motor rev a little bit higher.
