No trail permit needed. But it would be nice if contribution to the trail fund is made. Jars at any bar/eatery you would stop at. Probably be there Friday the 27. But it's only an hour and a half for me.

You have to reg your sled in New York . Take your
ins card and Ill reg and be able to show you paid
sales tax some were! You will have to get there
when the DMV is open or mail it to them. It takes
about 2 weeks to get it.

staying at a bed and breakfast in turin
donna someone owns it, sounds really nice, said shes on trail , have to cross a bridge and park across the street, does this ring a bell???????????????///////
Yeah, you have to get an out-of-state NY registration. I can't remeber how much it is, but its not cheap ($35 I think). If oyu get caught without it you'll get fined. And there is a good chance you could get caught at Tug Hill around Christmas/New Years. Also, there are a few areas around Tug Hill that I think require special permits as well (like Old Forge). Check http:/www.nydmv.state.ny.us/ to find DMV office locations and hours (usually limited). I assume you don't have 2-3 weeks to do it by mail?
the couple who own the b&b are donna and jack,
its located on east main st,
they told me there is a little bridge across the street, to get to their parking
only $25 per night per guy, includes homecooked breakfast
my e-mail address is [email protected] or [email protected]
definetly would help if we had someone who knew the area,
i guess i'll have to find a dmv and try to register?
not alot time to ride hate to spend it at the dmv!!!!!!!!!
we should be there by 1p.m. tomorrow, leaving chicago at midnight tonight
also can you get permits as you enter old forge?
were used to michigan riding, $21 and you can ride anywhere in the state
thanks for all your help
just trying to keep this on main page for you to see,
i will be bringing my laptop with me so i can probaly send you a post tomorrow when we get to turin!!
if the b&b will let me use there phone line,
i'll check back later for a update
