just bought an 03 firecat sno-pro . I am taking my y-pipe off for ceramic coating since the speedwerx and can are already done. do i need to use exhaust hi temp sealant to put it back on.

as long as the stock gaskets are in ok shape you can just re-use them.

I just had mine off a week ago to repaint with hightemp hedder paint and there isn't even a gasket on there. Unless for some stupid reason the dealer had it off when they replaced my motor back in Feb. 05 and never put one back on.

its a metal gasket....


mine was gone...not sure where it went???

replaced them this year..
