Had a bearing fail on my crank late last season at 2500 miles. Ended up replacing the whole crank, rods, 1 piston and re-ring both while I had it apart. Also oil pump was wore in the drive end. Note: Engine was getting oil properly.

Has anyone else know of anyone or had any problems with 2000-700 cranks? Polaris wouldn't help with any of the costs, hard to believe that I'm the only one.

Any comments would be helpful.

i've seen one that appears to have a bad crank. He is still riding it, but the motor will lack up for no reason, he will play with the clutch until it is free and rides it again. I can't believe that it still runs, but it is only a matter of time (probably very soon) that he will be buying a crank. :eek:
