we are moving from maine to wyoming. is there regular trails out there, that we could ride with out a guide? what is the best town to live in where there are trails right in town ? what is the riding season like out there? another question is about deer hunting? is there alot of deer out there? thanks for your answers.

you dont need a guide if your riding on the trails, there well marked(not like quebec though) its when you go off trail when you might need a guide. there are some important items you would need off trail( satellite phone, avalanche beacons, shovel, probe, and never ride alone!maine is one thing (towns are close by) wyoming is a whole different ball game! i like jackson, but there are many great places there to ride.good luck and have a safe move there.

What makes the move out to wyoming, I drove threw that state on the way to Utah. Man there aint shit in that state.

nothing in Wyoming??? yellowstone nat. park,, several mountain ranges,, some of the best snowmobiling in the US,,more public land than a guy can walk in a lifetime,, jackson hole,, cody,,you bet Wyoming....and 1 of the least restrictive states..no state income tax...lots of hunting around Cody,, we live 20 min. from there in powell..1hr from the big horn mountains.and 2 hrs from cooke.. perfect place. not much snow in the winter right here...
