What do you do with you windage plates

What do you guys think is better on for less wind resistance or off for cooler secondary?

Some one here is confusing the issuse, Putting the plates on reduces the wind resistance, increasing the belt and clutch temperature.

Yeah, you know what I'm saying? If you leave it on, the clutch will run hotter, the hotter the clutch the better is should grip the belt. I'm not sure how true this is but it makes sence.

that's a tuff call,
But gut feeling is to leave it on.
The windage plate doesn't stop all air flow around around the fins and also acts as a heat sink.
I have to ask my self why would AC waste their time putting it on in the first place?
It costs them money to put them on and why would they want to risk the extra heat on the clutchs and belt for the slight bit of wind advantage that nobody will ever feel.
