Stay at the Quality Inn onRt 11. They have an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. They also have a large parking lot next to it with lots of parking for trucks and trailers. The food there is good also :div20:

OR if your on a little more of a budget stay next door at the Auberge Country Inn, nothing fancy but clean and priced right.
Either one is a great choice, food, gas, dealers, bars etc are all close by not to mention some of the best trails to be had anywhere.

New Liskeard - Stay at the EconoLodge (across from Quality Inn) Great parking and good foo in the restaurant and the rate is $60 / night for a great room compared to $95 for the Quality. No pool/jacuzzi but the Quality has that if you want to spend more.

Kirkland Lake - Well the Comfort Inn is about the best place to stay. If you can ride another 2-3 hours and get up to Cochrane. The Chimo is the place to be.

First of all we only paid $70 CND to stay at the Quality Inn and for about the same money as the EconoLodge I'll take the pool and hot tub :div20: We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Kirkland Lake a few years ago and it was OK but I don't think I'll ever ride there again. I'd rather bypass Kirkland Lake and go thru Elk Lake instead. The Chimo is a nice place if you like cockroaches and mold! What a SCHITHOLE that place is :flush:

The Quality Inn is always a good choice, but the past few trips we have stayed at the Waterfront Inn. If you don't know where it is, you turn right at the bottom of the hill at New Liskeard rather than continuing a few km's to the Quality in Dymond. Follow into New Liskeard and its right on the lake. It is a bit more money, but there is a bank 1000 feet from the Inn, there is tons of parking, a pool and full rec centre at the end, and there is a 'Kelsey's' style bar/restaurant attached. Very nice place, here are 3 pics from our room last year in February and the last 3 are of the front of the building where the compound is. Oh yeah, for those who haven't seen the video I posted in the t660 forum, that was taken on our little deck out the back of our room. You can put your machines in the compound over night or put them infront of your room (ground level) and lock them there.

I recommend the Waterfront 100%.

Edit: oh, yeah the big green sign in the second last picture speaks for itself, lol

New Liskeard - Qaulity Inn or Waterfront are both nice.
Kirkland Lake - Qaulity Inn is ok, Howard Johnson is ok by beer store!!, or just west of town on hwy 11 is the Kenogomi Bridge Inn, great food nice people, don't know about the rooms though.
Cochrane - North Adventure Inn - has a hot tub and sauna, Lilabelle is supposed to be nice also.

In Cochrane, yes the North Adventure is nice and has its own bar. If anyone stays here, sleep in the igloos.

I've been in the bar at the Waterfront a few times, its awsome to watch the game on a Saturday night, eat and watch sleds come across the lake all at once.
