Do i need a longer cooler, and if so how would i do that? I also know that electrical can be a pain. But if any of you guys have any tips or tricks to having a successful engine swap let me know. Thanks

This will be my fourth year on a 440 chassis. The 1st was a 440 with a 700.All wiring and stator off the 440,hot start button unpluged and the 440 mpem box. Also ran the short cooler with the temostat delete,Ran fine no over heating what so ever.Ran a rk head and 05 800 rack carbs. Also changed the clutching and gearing.
Second year had 440 box flashed(Made big diff about 8 degrees advance).Stretched to a 136 track(136x16x1.75)and longer cooler.
3rd year had motor redone at doo doctors shop by his cuz,770cc,boss seat and went to a doo clutch with djs helix set up at doo doc's.
This year bmp pipe and can and down to a 136x15x1.25 track.
Each year there was rejetting and reclutching and regearing.I think the long cooler is for guys that run in low snow conditions, the summits came with short coolers too,i put one on because i got caught up in the b.s. of guys talking not trying. Its like the wiring and stator,it works fine hand warmers and lights are fine. The 136 extentions takes away the playfulness of the 440 and the add track hooks up nice but eats power(wind tunnel). You need to revalve the shocks a xrs clear 10gal tank is nice and a oil cady.If i did it again i would stay 121x15x1.75 track and not worry about the cooler, theres better things to send money on like a rk head, clutching, box flash, renthal bars etc.....
