I am trying to take my track out. I bought a long track kit going to try put it in tomarrow. Do I need to remove this to get the drive shaft out? Looks like with that off the shaft will side out.
What worked for us, take the burrs off the regulator, then take the gears out, and chain case off, then remove the suspension, jack up the rear end about 4' in the air, get under and take ahold of the drive shaft and "slam it" to the mag side. That popped the regulator off fairly nice. Then you can slide the drive shaft out, and change your track.
