I inquired at a local dealer the other day how much a set of VForce 3s would cost for my '04 600 RMK. Dealer said I needed to order some kind of spacer or something along with the new reeds. He said they didn't come with the VForces. I asked him if I could use the stock "spacer" and he said I probably could, but I would have to modify it to install the VForces.

Does anybody know what the heck he's talking about? :dunno: Do I need this other thing and will I need to do some jetting after installation? :dunno:

All info is appreciated. Don't know much about this, but I wanna learn. Thanks.

I installled V-force over the summer. Just bolt in. He maybe suggested reed spacers but they are not neccessary. No need to re-jet... Some Ski-doo models require modification of the carb boots. This is the only mod I know of that is necessary to install V-force...

bolt right in. on my 700 wee used to grind out the inside of the carb boots to make it flow a little better

Thanks guys. I didn't think there were any mods req'd, but when the dealer told me there was, I just wanted to make sure from the guys that do their own wrenching.
