Heys guys, I was talking to a guy last winter that swore this works. He said to run a single shaper bar on the left ski and use a Deuce bar on the right ski. He said this will eliminate darting plus when your riding down the side of roads the left ski is the one that is normally on the road and you aren't wearing the more expensive deuce bar. I'm not looking to save a dollar that bad but was wondering if anyone has tried this? I noticed that the Studboy Deuce bar aren't sold as a pair.

I used to do this when I was a kid and couldn't afford carbides. I would put the deuce on the left ski. That way it is on the road surface and saves the sharp turning carbide from wearing.

It's not an ideal setup for railing corners, but I've seen it before.

Wy back in the day it was popular to run a steel runner on one ski, and a carbide runner on the other, then it was an easy steer carbide to replace the steel runner, so nothing really new. Imo, running 6'' stud boy deuce bars on both skis works well as anything in just about all snow conditions for an average rider.
