Guys,
Just bought a new track for my son's 1994 Jag Z 440. My question is: are the tunnel protectors supposed to be over the open windows in the track or not? His are not and I bought a track with molded stud holes and plan on putting some in. It just seems that where the current protectors are will hit the tip of the studs depending on my placement. Does this sound correct?

On all the studded sleds with tunnel protectors I've run, the protectors do go right above the windows. Either way they will protect the tunnel however, so you may not need to worry about it unless the studs wear on the protector under normal conditions.
