Surfing the AM Snow web site I notice an interesting comment from Big Al regarding ice on the tunnel that occurs and resembles a waterfall after being parked awhile. Anybody else notice this phenomena? I did but really didn't understand what was occurring. In summary Big Al says that gaps under the seat in the tunnel between the heat exchanger and also where the tunnel is bent allow snow to get in there during riding that melts and creates a waterfall of ice over the running board reinforcement along the tunnel. His fix involves using foil backed tape and silicone to seal the gaps. B) Jeff

I had this same problem and the dealer used goop to fil the area that you are talking about.
you need to take the seat off to fix it.
