Think there's a few small hotels near Adams Center, that's also the best place to drop off. If you cannot find a place there, Adams Center/Tug Hill is only 15-20 minutes from Watertown, where you will find a plethora of hotels and places to stay. Unfortunately you would have to truck back to Tug to ride from Watertown, unless you know the local trails that take you to Tug.
I am sure others will chime in here with better information and places to stay near Tug, Tug is only 2 hours from me so we've never had to stay overnight.
But check ALL the links in the pinned New York Web Cam Thread at the top of the New York Forum for local and trail conditions and status, before making your final plans.
The Edge is a nice place but be sure there is sufficient snow cover or you will need to trailer out of the valley to The Hill or OF as sometimes it can get thin and the trails may be shut down.
ridgeview lodge, excellent place and owners are top notch , they are booked solid unless there is cancellations, but you can still usually get a room close to the weekend. there is a group of us staying there this fri and sat.
I hope you're talking about weekends being booked because I just called 15 minutes ago and got a room with two double beds for tues-friday. $90 a night.
You guys should be in good shape. Hard base but icy esp at night won’t matter if your studded but winter storm warning in effect throughout week. Could get up to 2ft by end of week some here some there adding up. Should have most of it by Thursday night.
Got significant snow so far should be in good shape when groomers lay it down.
