I bought a set of snap ring pliers from auto parts store for my project: Swapping my 137" 1.25 Ripsaw II w/144 gold diggers studded with the Hurricane 1.75 on my 16 ZR8000 w/4k miles. No problems just wanted more lug height.

So Babbitts had 3 of 4 bearings on backorder, so I got those from countycat. Expect to get back on the rebuild later this week. Shocks were rebuilt this year too.

Can't wait to getter done and get to ripp'n!

Just installed a Backcountry X 141 on my 2012 XF 1100 turbo last weekend. Studs on the old track were starting to damage the heat exchanger... This write up definitely helped me out! I did have some hang ups that I thought I should mention if anyone else is attempting with the 1100 turbo..

My secondary clutch for whatever reason, would not come off of the jack shaft no matter what I tried. I was doing this all late Friday night so I could ride Saturday morning so removing the clutch with the jackshaft still attached to get pressed out wasn't an option for me at the time.

You can do all of the other steps required to remove your track with the secondary clutch installed. You won't have as much room to work by the brake rotor and caliper obviously, but definitely still can be done.

My brake rotor was also not wanting to come off of the drive shaft... thankfully it wasn't welded on as bad as the secondary clutch and with some patience, I was able to remove by splitting the caliper and working and prying each side carefully. Little by little it finally came off.

Chaincase was a bit different than the 800 by having hard lines to oil res but still not bad at all. My reverse was already deleted so it was a breeze.

All in all, I wasted a lot if time on the damn secondary when I didn't need to for this particular job so it took longer than needed. It was a pain in the ass but still better than paying someone else to do it.

I like your sled lift. Works great til you realize you can't found the darn ladder!?! :^P lol.

Almost done, once I'm back in town next week.

Look at those helping hands with pretty red nails, time for touch up though.

Long evening getting the skid back in but it's done. Forgot it helps to strap down the rear shock in order to align the rear bolts. Ugh!

Looking fwd to this weekends ride in the county with the new track. Midcoast Maine is getting 3-8" today so I can get a brief test ride in before we load up and headout AFTER plowing the door yard.

Yep. Track upgrade was a good move for me and how I ride; mostly trial, breaking trail on old tote roads and some off trial.
