If i had a inline fuel restricter and it ran great... I got the D&D port and head work done to the 700 motor..... would this make me to lean and rob hp now with the inline fuel restricter still in place.... Is there such a thing as being to lean that it would take away hp..... I only run 660 feet and the egt's dont get to the hot point in that distance but i was just wondering if i was to take the fuel thing out would it make more power by giving it more fuel.....

thanks

By having it ported it SHOULD make more HP,In order to make more HP you need more fuel. I would take it out and try and then if you have to much then start with bigger jets and work down. JMO

Being too lean will definately rob the power. An you an actually be so lean that your EGT's will not rise too high. Try to fatten it up. Read your plug from the fat point down.

It is better to read piston wash. But that is tough on the laydown engines.
