Heading out to Togwotee for a spring ride, usually I just bring my IQR 800 136" in the spring, but it appears they are still getting dumped on although still getting up in the mid 30 to 40's during the day. Just wondering if anyone has been out there recently and has a idea on snow conditions. With the warmth I am guessing its getting pretty setup. I recently picked up a 163" D8 to part out but with all the snow in MN I held onto it and was thinking of possibly bringing it, but can only bring one sled this trip. Any advice or info would be great. IQR is actually setup really well for the deep, but not if its over the hood all the damn time.

Yep, really setup! We found some, but not much loose stuff in the woods. Still a ton of snow, but hard as a rock. Had more issues with spinning on ice/top crust while climbing than powdering out. Could of brought a 121" and been fine. Ran into a chaincase issue on the IQR and ended up taking the 163", way over kill.
