What is timing and why is it important? What kind of improvments would I see if i adjusted it right? Also, how do you adjust it? :dunno: Sorry for all the questions it's just confusing. :doh: THANKS

its the time of spark to the position of the piston. to put it simply. if the sled is out of time you can have poor running or other problems. it is not a bad idea to take it to a shop and have the timing checked.

i beleive stock timing on that sled is14 degres not sure at what rpm though had my 98 advanced to 16 make a huge difference. you have to remove the recoil and flywheel to change it though.
