I have a 2 degree timing key for my 03 F7 and I went to the dealer to borrow the crank puller. I removed the recoil and all the mounting hardware, then i attached the puller to the flywheel. I turned the damn thing as hard as i could and it wouldn't budge. How hard to they usually come out? The timing key is just behind that right? Any help would be great! Thanks.

oh ya the 03 is hard to get off..and when it does you will think you broke something. keep tightening until she pops..get a bigger bar. you really shouldn't put heat to it as you don't want to damage the stator. you may have to use a impact gun not the greatest thing to use on a crank but you may have to.

I had a hard time removing mine too. just get a longer breaker bar! Do not use an impact gun
