Hopefully we get some good riding up there this season. The no snow start to last season pretty much was a bummer. Only riding we got to do up there was late in the season.

heading north to the border on smooth NST trails this season might be sketchy with the Blue Ox club equipment fire.

I hate to say it, but i generally avoid that area and to the South with the ATV/UTV traffic they get. I'm assuming they'll get a grooming program put together with the help of other local clubs and spare equipment, but I too am assuming a bit of a tough start for them to start the season.

So did this area survive the warm up and opening weekend/Xmas traffic? Is it worth going up this Saturday or best waiting a bit? Would like to ride but have enough stuff to do around the house that I can keep myself busy if it's not in the cards...

Ran through there yesterday. Headed east then north. Couple areas towards silver cliff weren’t the best with logging. Thought most areas north and west were good. Was first track on most trails. Saw 6 sleds total all day. May leave from there again Saturday unless it’s raining.

Left out Saturday morning and was impressed how they held up. Snow was actually pretty soft yet. I was out longer than I had planned and ran in rain from Iron River to the lot in Lakewood. Hopefully the get the 5-6” they are calling for this week. Hope to take advantage of a day off for New Years.
