When I first saw it I noticed it has the older style front spindles on it. I really like and wanted the handling of the new, 2020 and up, spindle and a-arm spacing and design. I feel those sleds are even flatter than the previous version of the pro-cross sleds.
It was later explained to me from a Yamaha rep that the older style front end was left on it deliberately. They said it seemed to work better on that longer, and stiffer chassis. Maybe true, maybe not.
I also ride around home a bit on the local twisty trails and that sled seemed like it would be quite a handful.
Al that said, a sled of that type will probably be my next new sled purchase. As I get older, the idea of more saddlebag and overnight rides appeal to me and that sled would be the ultimate.

There was supposed to be a new Pantera for 23 and Cat pushed it back to 24 at the very last minute. They made an announcement about that happening.

It and the ZR 7000 were supposed to return and were later pulled, there was no talk of pushing it back that I am aware of

Pantera 9000 EPS would be sweet,, and like all Cat Turbo sleds, "keeping it stock". 😉
