Idk about Yamaha doing the mapping. The blast was fine but the riot x 800 was really bad . Huge miss in the midrange and a bad spot around 5000-5500. I’m hoping there was something wrong with that particular sled.
Well it is not meant to be a kid's sled. It is a starter/ smaller rider sled, and the price on that for the non almost purple replica , is about right. I know of several buying. Replacing old Polaris from the rumblings. Two blast for the price of one 850 hand grenade from my internet reading. I can buy a turbo cat with ATACK for less than a grenade. Tough choice.
There are alot of snowmobilers that have big money. Especially mountain riders. Alot of people won't blink at 8k and like the guy on the video said, they will hold their value decently, total cost of ownership over a couple years might be 3k which isn't bad for a brand new sled. There is nothing else like it in that segment, if you have a kid or gf newbie, m blast would be far and away the best sled nothing even close to it. 3k for a couple years ownership is nothing
Have you seen me on Polaris or Doo? do something about this crap! Playing nice obviously means nothing here at the moment. Been several days of this going on. Just stating the obvious. fun is fun but that is not on the cat boards if rules matter.
going for snow ... no prob ill let the yammy guys know as soon as they put up a venom forum that the blast 121 guys are paying a 1000 more for same sled ..?♂????
Polaris was bought by Textron in 1968 and repurchased by Polaris management in 1981. A founding member of Polaris also branched off and started Arctic Cat.
