I have a F-7 Sno-pro with the 1.375 track. Not many of us up here put studs on our machines; to much weight and also VERY expensive. I would like to do something for more ice-type traction but we get enough snow to make it hard to justify studs. Have any of you tried other stuff like the Bergstrom Skegs or the Klymaxx studs? What did you think? If you didn't like, or did, can you tell me why? Thanks very much!!!

PS: Love this sled!!

Thought about the same option, but from the research I did, you would have to put a whole lot of the screw-ins to get even close to the same traction as the push through studs.
Also, those I have talked to said that they did get some lug damage with the screws, which I think would be more expensive than just putting in regular studs to begin with.

My dealer swears by these Klymaxx lug screws but I haven't tried them.
