The company I work for is in Keene, I have talked to a friend that is on the dive and rescue team there. It is not good. 4-6 ft of water in some areas of Keene. My prayers and thoughts go to the familys in the area.

I'm suppose to be in Hinsdale Tuesday night. The house that washed into the river is not far from the club house. The bridge in center of town is out--rt 63 and 119 from what I've been told.

While we definetly dont have it as bad as Keene area the central lakes region has many roads closed too. I was stranded as home for about an hour this am in Northfield rt 3 in Tilton was closed for a while and several back roads in Belmont Gilmanton TIlton and northfield are closed. My dads 15ft boat was over turned in the lake thankfully we had taken the motor offf for winter already. The new town public beach is under water in Northfielsd as well

My son called us while we were still up in Colebrook over the weekend to tell us that Alstead was almost destroyed. His girlfriend lives there. A friend of his walked up to my son and handed him a sticker. It was the only thing the kid found of his sled. He told my son that his family had lost their house and all their vehicles. I guess the dam on Lake Warren broke. My son's girlfriend and her family are fine, just a flooded basement. When my son went to leave her house Saturday night he said that he noticed a lot of water coming down the road and went back in to let her father know what was happening. Not a good scene in this town at all. Several people are missing. All schools in the Fall Mt. district are closed. My thoughts and prayers go out to these folks!

What sucks is it's been raining pretty hard for the last few hours and that is only going to make it worse. I live under 20 miles from Hinsdale, I hope it's not raining up there.
