GANG, A friend of mine had sleds stolen from Bryant Woods, Atkinson,NH. They where on a trailer in a locked storage area.
Then the MFers went to the house of the owner and broke in, stole the bills of sale and the titles. WTF over. There was no insurance for loss on these sleds that he busted his balls to buy.
Here is the information on the trailer and sleds. If you guys see or hear anything let us know.

Thanks guys,
Mark

Sounds like an inside job if they stole the sleds then went to the owners home and knew where he kept all the paperwork for the sleds. Pretty ballsy move to B&E a residence just to register some snowmobiles. If it was a random theft from a storage area, how would they know where he lived? Hope he gets them back in one piece.

The theft could've happen in the last two weeks as that's the last time he checked on them. He had the reggies on the sleds which have the owners address on them.

Still seems weird as it is a very small town and where they were kept is very secure. Not a divorce deal? I don't understand the break in the house part just to get the titles.

This sounds real fishy. On the NH page, it says they found a trailer and 2 sled burn't in the woods about 2-3 towns away. Sounds like an insurance job if you ask me.

Information has come in from a fellow HCSr. Information has been passed on to the owner and he is making contact with a towing company and the police. I'll follow up tomorrow.

O.K. Gang here's the straight info.
Because of HCSers the owner was able to help get info to the authorites and also find out what happened to his sleds.
The owner had NO INSURANCE FOR FIRE OR THEFT ON THE SLEDS OR THE TRAILER. It is a total loss for him unless the perps can be found and held accountable.
The titles and bill of sale was on his workbench in his garage which was broken into over the past couple of weeks. He really didn't notice he had been broken into because he didn't notice anything missing. The owner says they got lucky if they broke in for those items because he had them right there.
After the sleds where stolen then things started to come together and he noticed things that made him realize that his garage had been broken into. The trailer and sleds where in an outside locked storage facility with two locks on the hitch. All the locks had been broken and pieces where laying on the ground.
A fire which was two snowmobiles and a trailer had been reported burning at a home in Raymond, NH. Looks like a total loss. Numbers if available have to be matched up but looks to be his stuff.

Why did they burn the sleds and the trailer??? Who knows. We are thinking they fought over the booty probabley whether to sell or keep them or who was going to get what or something.

Anyway my buddy hopes to be able to see the sleds and trailer soon to confirm. He's really bummed. Saved for those sleds and paid cash.

It has to be an inside job, if they broke in the house to steal the title they had to have known where it would be. No thief would steal sleds then go looking for the titles, lets be real. Look at who you know that could have done this is my suggestion.

This is the last notice on this one.
Police in Raymond have a suspect(s). The sleds and trailer were found burning at mobile home in a trailer park in Raymond.
The suspect(s) are not known by the owner. They may have been working for a roofing contractor that was using the same storage facility where the sleds where being stored.
Don't know why the sleds were burned. Accident or on purpose.
Owner says he is sure that his garage was broken into and that the paperwork for the sleds has been taken along with some other small items. Registrations were on the sleds. Certificates of origin and bill of sale where in garage.
Police say it will be a very long time for restitution to be made if at all.
Owner is out for what he paid for them. Bought them last year used as a pkg deal from a private sale.

The results suck but at least HCS members came through with the find. It does make sense if those roofers were working on the owners building to break in. They may have seen the owner working on or moving his trailer and put 2 and 2 together. If I was the Association president the roofing contractor would be long gone!!
