Anybody purchase the online issue of Snowtrax? What do they have to say about the XF Turbo regarding handling and suspension performance? When trails get bumpy, does the big sled remain composed? Or does it behave like an Apex?

dude its all over this forum and everywhere....Im steeped in the blue camp and NO YAMAHA is in the same stratosphere with this sled.....no offense as they make sweet motors...but their chassis is 10 yrs old...and all the weight sits high due to the rear exiting exhaust...
the fact they brought 4 strokes to the market put them in first in 2003.....now they are firmly in last for 2012

This thing is the real deal bud. The magazine write ups about the turbo have said basicly that finally a manufacturer has got the 4 stroke right! Time will tell.

Lots of general, positive platitudes exist here and there. I haven't seen any "quotes" re-printed where they analyze the suspension performance and compare it to other sleds. I haven't read what it was like to ride over some really bumpy trails. How does it compare to the 4-stroke Renegade? I like when the magazines compare one sled to another. It gives ya some idea what it might perform/feel like. Ya know what I mean? Does Supertrax compare it to other sleds, pertaining to how it performs/feels. Renegade/Nytro XTX/XF Turbo/etc...etc..overall, who comes out on top? Not just speed, Turbo hands down, I know. I'm thinking XF Turbo sets an all-new standard. Am I wrong? Overall performance...

Never payed much attention to the mag,s seemed like the always favored one or the other it was hard too find a objective point of view, thanks to forums such as this we get the skinny from real world from riders that have rode em all at one time, not being in a position to buy next season it will be nice to see what a year on the new Cats turns out like, alot of hype out there it seems hard to believe that this chassis is so ground breaking but on the other hand if it is as we are all being told it is then the goal post has just been shoved further down field, myself I thought that Polaris had a direction with their new chassis it looked different and very techno, this cat chassis has not gone any where near that direction so if there is that much handling left in what looks like standard fare Cat has done their homework well, they always did push the envelope and in todays economy I know that the consumer is the clear winner most snowmobile company's are beating their R&D departments to death to one up the other and we are the winner,Bombi had better step up and not rest on their sales of the last few years the company that gives us what we want will weather this economy,if this new Cat is what is being hyped then the rest have to dig deep or lose market share.

I bought it. They basically said that the turbo was frightening (fast) to ride... I don't think they rode the XF1100T (just the non-turbo). On the XF1100 non-turbo, they said AC did what most thought couldn't be done.. made a 4-stroke feel like a 600 2-stroke. I've never seen them (Supertrax) talk about AC like they did in the on-line issue.
