Not sure on compression. I have the speedwerx heads and single pipe on my sled. Along with CPR's clutching, v-force 2's a D&D power breather. The sled runs very well, I did lose a piston my second winter with the sled. I held it wide open for well over a mile and coughed a piston. I could not figure out why until about fifteen minutes later. It was my first ride of the year (could not wait to go out) I had dumped the gas I had at the cabin for the tractor into the sled. It was only 87 octane. I was told to use 91 or higher if at all possible, if I had to use 87 no long WOT runs. Moral of story use high octane gas. Kevin
