well, last night me and my dad were working on his sled all night we put in the bmp y pipe, single pipe, bullseyes, bmp can and a 44-40 d&d helix. also we did some minor clutching we put 86 g weights on the primary with a white spring. after it was all said and done the sled ran rich of the go so we played with the numbers till today where we put some new numbers in which are

0000 -2 -2 -2 0

3000 0 0 0 0

5000 05 05 05 0

6400 06 06 06 0

7000 07 07 07 0

7400 07 07 08 0

7700 10 10 10 0

we cant get it to rev past 7100 rpms when last night we could get it all the way up to 7700, i was looking to see if anyone out there has this same or very similar setup and some experience with a boondocker could help me out a little bit. in 2 weeks i might possibly be buying the sled off my dad and if we dont get it to work he is getting a new xp if it does work he is likely getting a 08 f1000 please someone help me out. and another thing the rpms wont go past 5800 at times it just bogs and acts like my old 76 jag340... im not sure what to do any help would be amazing

Motors can vary in fuel needs, but I can tell you I have a ported/ single pipe/ y-pipe/ VF3/ +2 key 07 F1000, and am currently only adding fuel at 7850 (my box is a D&D box with more rpm ranges). I am still trying different #'s, but on the dyno I actually was at -5 at 6500 lo & mid, 0 at hi, and -5 at 6850 lo & mid, 0 at hi. You may have to pull fuel out of your 5000, 6400 and 7000 #'s . Work down a little at a time, but i'll bet that's your problem, the motor is loading up with too much fuel. Hold your throttle at the troubled rpms, and hit the kill switch then pull the plugs to see if it's too rich.

i may be wrong but that seems like alot of clutch weight, are you using the 4 post? i dont have the single pipe but im running 4 - 75 gr weights and with a 48-44-40 helix and it runs 7400rpm all day, just asking, ben.

we actually blew up our 4 tower and got a 3 tower in it now also we got the new computer update so im not sure where to start. snowstud i was wondering if u had the update done to your sled if u have the time would u suggest me trying to use ur boondocker setup thanks right know im putting 153 picks in my zrt so ill come back and check every 10 minutes

also... we got egts on the sled and one cylinder always runs hitter than the other one by about 50 deg f but when i hold it to the bar when it hits 7100 the one side is at 1150 deg and other one is at 1100 deg they are bolted on the y pipe

also another thing is when the sled boggs down to 6000 rpm one side of the y pipe will be at around 950 and the other side will be within 290-400 from what the egt says if anyone has a solution or suggestion it would be greatly appreciated

I am currently having computer problems, and am on here via my playstation 3. My numbers will not help you, as I have a totally different setup, porting, D&D pipie/y-pipe, key and reeds. My rpm's and fuel needs will be different. I did not have any ecu reflashes done to my sled. If you had one done, it is to my understanding that the reflash adds more fuel to the midrange, which would make me think you need to start pulling fuel out from those rpm's a little at a time. Your egt #'s in the midrange sound too rich. There is also a trim adjustment if you feel one cylinder is getting too much fuel you can pull fuel from one to maj=ke them more equal. Good luck.
